Anyone ever install a Cabmate or similar on a 900A?

    Hi everyone,

Sorry for the long post but please bear with me. I'm looking at modernizing my 900A and installing a Cabmate kit on it. I was just wondering if anyone here has installed one and if it's worth it. My only concerns at this point are the upper stack mounts and the front cab mounts. I looked at a day cab 378 Peterbilt and it uses the same style front cab mounts as my 900 (round rubber pucks secured with a single vertical bolt through the center). I'm assuming my front cab mounts will be fine with a Cabmate since the factory Peterbilt uses the same set up. The stacks are my main concern because the original top mounts are just rubber flaps. Will those hold up to vertical cab movement or would I be better off going to the slide style stack mount like they use on the T800's? Bearing in mind I am keeping the original exhaust pipe and muffler sizes when I put the truck back together.
