Its beyond me why loves is such a popular trkstop after so long going there I figure drivers would get bored with loves. Here we have a loves and two blocks from there is a pilot.More attractive then loves and much better parking, but loves always is busier of the two.

    There is, this is true.
But Loves is making a run at them.

It's strange, PFJ saturates high traffic lanes, and ignores other areas, and Loves goes out of its way to compete, like surprise new ones, that go in quick, like when they took over that location on Singing Hills, I think it is, across I 29 in Sioux City, or that all new one near Perrysburg, OH. That one also went in quickly.

The new one at Fond du Lac, WI, is the only major minimally out of route from far Northeast IA, to Green Bay, WI by way of Madison. Few more miles but same amount of time to swing by that one.

Pilot tried in MN, along I 90, but there is not one real pilot between Mauston, WI to Sioux Falls south Dakota and only one Road Ranger Pilot across
the Interstate from a Loves at Oakton, WI.

There are 5 pfj locations on I80 in IL between Minooka at exit 122 and Princeton at exit 56.

Someone should! T/A is horrible expensive and honestly just lacking in good service; too many bean counters in suits running the show!

Love's will soon have 3 locations along US54 in Oklahoma and Kansas. Pilot doesn't have any.

Too bad most of the Loves have tiny parking lots.....They do that so you buy fuel, food or whatever and leave!
Pilot is second on my crap truck stop list.

Rarely ever have a wait to shower at a TA or Petro....
I tried to shower at a Pilot in Ohio last week.....what a dump that was!
I went up the road to the TA and plenty of parking and empty showers..

Loves has lane 1 for tires and fuel, I wonder if they are getting in position to service driverless trucks?

Honestly I think pilot/flyingJ are better then Loves, and TA/petro has gone downhill.. every loves i been to is tiny and crowded and i dare not take a shower at loves,, thats where Pilot and Flying J excel there new showers are the cleanest in the industry i think..
