Hey, everyone! A fellow driver recently told me that British Columbia has recently been checking regularly for 65mph governors on tractors coming in from Washington state. Is there any truth to this? Can anyone confirm or deny the rumor? I'll be headed in to BC this coming Tuesday. As always, thanks!!!

That's a load of bs. There's no speed limiter law in bc. Only Ontario. My company truck goes faster than 65mph and I'm based in bc lol
magoo68, CanadianVaquero, jldilley and 1 other person Thank this. -
Far as I know there are no speed limiter laws in BC.

That's what I thought, too. Thanks.

So it was appealed but not repealed? I gather the Peoples Republic of Ontario figures its "common sense" and it's still law? And people wonder why I run the Western provinces....
