Brokers, is it slow?

Slow on my end.
Back to hitting the phones looking for new freight.

 

Trust me, I know all to well.
Feels like I'm just chasing my tail.

 

Crazy slow. I was content until 2 weeks ago, now I'm banging my head, resorting to going as low as scanning Craigslist for that golden nugget. (Don't laugh, I've dug around and made some decent deals that way before, but the majority of the posts are just big companies trying to keep seats full.)

I have an RGN and can't seem to stay active enough to maintain in my category/area/region now. Looking for another gig, even if it's dry freight for the summer until my tanker work comes back around again in the fall.

This is something else. Millions of outfits screaming "need help", nothing worth doing.
