The freeze was from owner-operators bringing their own trucks over...

Describe what you mean by cash on hand for a emission related breakdown. I don't disagree but how much cash in hand. Companies don't even want to own them outside of warranty.

You want me to describe cash reserve???? What don't you understand? Companys have always gotten out of trucks before the warranty expires, it's the megga business model, unfortunately sometimes the emission trucks take a couple hundred thousand miles before the kinks are worked out. So with a high truck payment your gonna be hurting in the shop with a lemon. New trucks break down sometimes much more often than new trucks. I would go with a glider first choice, but either emission or glider you want at least 10 grand on hand for repairs to stay afloat.

I talked to a recruiter today and they are definitely not taking anymore gliders. Oh well, off to Landstar, Mercer, or Interstate.

Pretty sure Landstar has the same requirements. I don't remember the year, but they don't just take anything any more.
