Bill of sale, title, and that's about it I suppose. Gotta get a D.O.T annual inspection on it, leave the sticker on trailer. That's what I do at least, gives the d.o.t one less thing to bite on. I carry phyiscal damage on mine.

Thanks man. I'm trying to buy one cash on Craigslist but good thing I asked before I give them a penny

Tag it in a state like Maine, very cheap for a 5 year reg.

The company I'm working for has those plates on almost every trailer they have. How do you tag it in Maine? -
www.mainetags.com is who I go through. The guys name is Joe. All the info is on there web sight

In TN you buy a tag and pay a one time fee. About $90 for however long you keep the trailer that's it. Don't know if you can get them though if you don't live/domicile here. I went to the local county courthouse for it.

Many states like GA. and others will charge a big (impact) fee if you buy the trailer out of state and bring it in to buy tag, ck. before buying about title and tag rules in your state?
corderol181 Thanks this. -
Research you state, on cost of plates.
And if you have to have a VIN verify. (Means you bring trailer to your reg. State they inspect it, before you can reg it.)
Added cost of permits per state to move your trailer to get it legal.corderol181 Thanks this.
