Camera? Not on my watch

Bit by bit piece by piece the POWERS take your freedom and privacy away everyday. I'm for them to defend a driver of an accident that wasn't his or her fault. Cameras are all over the place and everywhere now. Next thing you know they will want to install cameras in your home to watch you there too.

 

next will be cameras in our sleeper to make sure we're actually sleeping

 

Problem is there'll still be people driving putting up with that S***. No one can take a stand in this industry to amount to anything.

Sad part is that we all know that it is not the trucking companies wanting these cameras. But the Insurance companies whom run the industry are stating the insurance rates will be less. It is sad at how trucking companies have let the Insurance companies dictate how they run their company. Now the FMSCA, DOT, and Insurance companies are ganging up together to screw us all. Electronic Logs, Electronic on board recorders, Cameras forward/rear facing. Next thing you know you will have a D.O.T officer riding shotgun.

 

All this B.S in the industry, CSA, Electronic this, and that in trucks, and the well known automatic transmissions in these trucks. I understand why the concept started to help train a wife for team driving. This has lead to the companies putting these auto trans in all their trucks. Goes to show how lazy, ignorant people have become. Maybe we should come back with the old two stick tranny's in trucks when real drivers drove. 5x4, 6x4, 5x5, those with 3 speed auxillary

It's a control issue...
This is another tactic : 1. to degrade the driver wages
2. Put more heat on the drivers
3. Disqualified quarterly safety bonus ( because you fail to look in your mirrors every 9 seconds)
I'm glad I'm almost done with this industry
They make millions, live in the greatest nation on earth, I wonder how many of these trucking companies would sponsor just one third world child for $38 a month? .....i think that's less than the camera would cost em and sadly I wouldn't asking for them to share with blessing with more than one child
