I was wondering if Melton has installed cameras in the cabs? Forward and Driver facing? I have accepted a pre-hire with Melton and head that way end of the month. Any thoughts about them?

I don't know if they are in every truck. But I have a friend who used to work there. They do have cameras. Both road facing and driver facing. Have had them for several years. If I understood him right, a third party service could randomly select a driver cam to monitor. If they seen anything alarming they would alert meltons safety dept. They would also record and save video for a period of time if a triggering event occurred.

Thanks for the information. I can totally be onboard with front facing, but not sure how I feel about driver facing. Granted this won't effect my decision to work for them, I think the pros weigh out the cons with them.
