i drive a 2006/2007 w900. Yesterday I went to hook up my new Stryker 655 in place of the existing Galaxy 88. Now I have no power to the cb. Test light shows no power at the factory kenworth 3 blade connector. Could I have broken a wire somewhere? It looks like a nightmare to chase down. Can I use a cig light plug to get me by till I have time to fix it? I didn't know if it being a big radio made a difference for the cig lighter plug? It's driving me nuts not having a radio. Thanks in advance.

Checked all the fuses? And yes, you can use a cig plug to get by....I wouldn't leave it like that if you talk on it much, it will receive just as well though.......good chance it will pick more noise on the cig plug.

Yes but you need to have a heavy duty power cord. Needs to be rated for 15 amps. The Diesel/RoadPro generic ones are 5 amp. Love's has the K40 heavy duty cords.
