CDL Training @ TMC

Hey buckeye,
What are some pitfalls that tripped people up in the training. I will start the class on the 24th of this month. Did anyone fail to get their CDL?

 

Make sure you come with your CDL permit. That will take a lot of stress off you right off the bat. Just pay attention, follow the rules and you'll be fine. Everyone in my class got their CDL. I did hear a guy in the following class didn't get his. Anymore questions don't hesitate to ask.

 

I heard to not walk on the grass. That would be an interesting way to get the boot.

A sure bet to get fired is to have a bad attitude, or drive unsafe while in the training program. If you can't follow a simple rule like stay off the grass, then what other rules won't you follow. I'm an Instructor in Iowa so ask any questions.

Can you get your own room if you pay the difference?

 

You have to clear that with Recruiting, but other wise you will have a roommate, and depending on what they are doing like truck repair or students, you may have multiple ones.
