I am taking a job that's going to give me 3 consecutive days off a week and work me 4 days a week. I'm considering going back to college, and wanted to know if any of you truck drivers have done this successfully?
How many college credits did you take in your online classes while driving full-time? I'm wondering if I could ingest enough of the material to be successful while working 4 , 12-hour shifts, if I just listen to the lecture on my auxiliary cord over and over during my shift. With 3 days off a week you could probably swing half time, 6ish credits. Possibly more, depends on how much recreational time you want to spend on those days, how devoted you are, how tired you will be after working the week.

I was probably going to take an intense major also, I'm thinking Petroleum Engineering through UND Online, starting first at the community college level to mitigate my education costs. I'll probably go to school full-time in my last two years and work part-time only.

Its what they do at ups for the package handlers. You do all your work slammed together. In as few days as possible.
They graduate pretty much debt free.
Don't see why you couldn't do a full schedule really if they do it.
Online classes are harder than live classes. Might look into your local work center they will likely have telecommute classes for money grabber built in wait classes like English 101.
Do not! Do an English class online!!!
Any math class is fine online. -
