This point may have already been made, but in the first 3 lines the O.P. made a statement that would have caused me to instantly reject England, or any other company with similar financials. If I was only going to clear $750 on 3000 miles, I can stop right there. I successfully completed a lease purchase and cleared around $1000 on 2300 even with a truck payment. Including truck payment my weekly fixed business expenses ran just under $600 so on 3000 miles I would have been clearing at least double what the O.P. was looking at.

The information he provides has been repeated many times, but Preacher Man provided numbers to crunch to drive the point home. Your chances for success at CR England are slim, at best. Your probability for failure is a reality. And, by "failure", I don't mean that you'll fail, but rather the company will fail 'you. Driver retention is NOT a priority. They depend on a high turn-over rate to achieve higher profits. Drivers with seniority just get in the way.
If there's a more unethical Big truck truckin' company out thar, I'm not aware of it. -
