I started my truck driving career in the fall of 1988. I have ran vans, reefers, flatbeds, car haulers, and tanks. I have been looking into Choice for about a year. I am finally ready to get started. I am scheduled for orientation in Charlotte, August 10th. I will be giving 2 weeks notice to my current employer this week. I am looking forward to starting a new chapter in my truck driving career.

I talked to my recruiter and my finance rep again today. Just making sure everything is good to go. I would hate to quit my job and find out there is a problem with Schneider. Everything is good to go and I will be giving my company 2 weeks notice tomorrow. No turning back after that.

Are they sure Schneider choice will have enough freight for all these new choice drivers?
FLATBED Thanks this. -
I owned a Pete 379 car hauler when the car market crashed at the end of 2008 and beginning of 2009. To get a load of new cars required deadheading from St. Louis to Port Elizabeth New Jersey. I don't think I will ever see it that bad again.

Like all good things its going to eventually get flooded with too many trucks fighting for the BIG $ freight

After relying on dispatchers again for the last 3 years, a little bit of freedom will be a good thing.
