With a little over a year of experience in driving for a moving company making $17 a hour worth it? Physical labor/ moving heavy furniture plus driving. I'm local. Seems like doing something physically demanding and having a cdl would pay more, maybe way more so then just bumping docks locally? Anyone's thoughts

I did that for a long long time....
Never made any good money delivering furniture.
Rent a shop and sell mattresses.
You'll make more.
I've made the majority of my money sitting on my butt in my life.

Holland has a terminal around there somewhere; check that company.
Brenntag if you have hazmat endorsement. I've delivered to Brenntag chemical plants in the Carolinas.

Out of Raleigh u could do better than 17 an hour. Moving companies in my small town pay 15/hr for drivers and there's not many other driving jobs. Either them or trash service lol
