So I found my codes that pop up on the dash to be
ecu 128
pid 411
fault 1
fail 13
when the lights come on, I have significant power loss and awful mileage.
It seems to happen when my truck thinks she didnt get idled for long enough before shutting down.
I have found that they will go off only after driving at least 20 miles and another 10 mins of high idle.
(picky little thang)
From my best research, it is pointing me to egr problems either being stuck open, delta pressure sensor problem, or clogged lines??
This girl is nothing like my jetta or my jeep, so Im not willing to just guess with the price of screwing it up
being so much higher.
any ideas?
Egr... i think?

D'oh!
sorry
she is a 2010 Cascadia
DD15
413k miles -
It might help some to know how you came by the fault codes, mine never shows any, and doesn't seem to need much cooling down after running before shutdown.
StrokerTSi Thanks this. -
I mentioned it on someone else's thread..
with the truck on but in neutral brake on (disappears when you go into gear)
where the odometer display is where the codes show up
theres a fat square button that i usually only use to reset the trip miles but it is the
way to scroll thru the codes.
hold it down a second or so until the next screen shows -
I sort of figured that out by chance. just pushing buttons til something happened ^_^

Nope, and every time I get a PM or any other work done I ask about it.
no one seems to know
it still comes and goes and is really a pita -
My amber lights has went off now, but last night after replying and asking you I got a guy at a tA to hookup the computer while lights were on, was showing egr calibration needed. Now if freightliner can pull up the code without ambers being on maybe this will help up I as well. Thank you -
*Help you out as well....Ugh #### auto correct

411/13 is delta pressure sensor out of calibration. Have you had the SB 13M2 completed? There is a recall for this sensor so it should be replaced under warranty.
magoo68 Thanks this.
