Agree. I used a CB the first few years of driving. Every time I wanted to ask a question I couldn't get through anyway due to all the useless chatter.(by the way, chatter is against federal rules, it's only suppose to be used for traffic information) Then I would only turn it on if I did get in a backup to learn how long it might be or if there was a way around it.. Course every driver that came in behind me would ask "what's the holdup" so I never had to ask anything & would still find out the answer. After I was assigned a different truck the last two years I didn't even bother to have my CB installed. Oh and I never had an accident either.

I feel for the families..
