I got offered a job 75% of load using there trailers 81% with your trailer, guy was nice enough to send drivers earnings with rates and lanes a boat load of mtns driving, I'm doing that now, there's alot of 7-8 hundred mile days, he's gonna charge 400 a month for trailer rent, my plates and insurance. Don't know if I got the big mile days in me maybe 10yrs. ago. All miles came out to be 1.55 loaded and m/t.

700 to 800 a day with flatbed? Hope there's not a Qualcomm on board. You'll be hard pressed to run that unless you're pre strapped or pre tarped. Those are dry van miles

    Lepton1 and colorado18spd Thank this.

So going to pay 6% less and charge 400 a month to rent a trailer?
    Seems steep to me.
For general Flatbed around Colorado 1.55 all miles seems par right now.
I am at 1.72 all miles after insurances and plates but in Indiana.
Most guys I talk to in general Flatbed seem to be ballparking around 1.65-1.90 at this time some a bit higher.
Just my take on things right now I am sure others are killing it.

Thank you sir, it's his authority, I'm doing between 450-625 running around in state daily. I ran some numbers, thought about buying a used trailer. Might make 7-9k more a quarter, with 81%

Used trailer would be worth it as a whole. I'm running my own truck and o/o trailer now pulling right at 1.90. Not going to be a millionaire but I'm happy.

I get its his Authority which is where the 19% comes in I can see the extra 6% for his trailer or a rental fee just not both.
Or did I miss read that and the 400 cover the plates and insurance? If so not a bad deal as my plates and insurances run just shy of 200 a week.

Oh I know I stayed at parents for 5 days while dsp tried to get a good rate out of CO and best they came up with was 1.58/m so for doing in CO 1.55 all miles not bad for the lane.
And yeah get you a trailer will save/make you a few hundred a week.
