This happened in Maidencreek Twp Berks county Pennsylvania. I don't know what this driver was thinking, there is nothing up this road but residential and one greenhouse farm. What he's hauling doesn't look like it's for anything.

I sure would love to know his intentions. I've never seen a truck on this road. Farm tractors and stake beds yes. No tractor trailers though.

He did shut the road down for a couple hours, and one frieght train was stopped safely.

Unless your from here. Lol. Its taken me quite a few months but I learned so many roads I can be on in SE PA between Harrisburg Scranton and Philly and all between. I pull a 13'6" wagon 48's and 53's. Before this local job, you couldn't get me off the major truck routes in PA. Now I stay two lane as much as possible.

But yes, if you don't know the area, you should head warning to the no truck signs in PA.

The train engineer deserves a big raise.

A Norfolk Southern freight train was able to stop before it reached the crossing at Hill Road.
Hill Road was closed to traffic until crews could free the truck. Train travel has also resumed.
