Ook koo. Well i have orientation next week. Can u tell me some things what to expect. How the miles there. I live in dallas tx

 

I see on the company's website they don't take L/P trucks. I wonder if they would take full service lease trucks. PacLease quoted $2200/month plus .10/mile for all included maintence, tires, breakdown, everything.

 

This winter has been avg. 2200-2500 typically. But it is winter... Dallas is a good location to run out of. I go there alot and always get decent loads from around there.. one of the harder things is running days and night.. will run day,day night,day,night,night so it will take a toll. U will sit some between loads. Just try to enjoy the time. U won't get rich but you can easily scratch out 1200.-1500 a week after everything.

 

Not sure never hurts to ask them.

 

Thats not bad just on 2500 miles also. Not runnin hard at all. Im koo with night and day driving. I forgot to ask what division u on. They got me signed up for tlx division. What do u think is your average length of haul.

 

Most all solo drivers run tlx. Which is just truckload expidited.. most are 400 to 800 and then pulling from Dallas alot u get some 1100 to 1300 usually

 

Tracy may I ask if you are still with Forward Air and what you think of ltl division? We were with tlx but chose to take 6 weeks off to provide hospice care for Heather's father. Did not want to pay Quality's lease for that long. Considering going back and wondering if ltl
might be a bit better. Thank you in advance for any info you can provide.
