Hello all. Where can I get longer screws for the mirror antenna mount for a freightliner Cascadia.

I heard that using the stock screws with an antenna mount aren't long enough.

Anyone know where I can get them online somewhere? Thanks

    Thanks

Cool thanks! Will it specify on fastenal website that they are freightliner mirror mount screws or do I need I need to look for a certain size and length?

Do you know what size and length of screw to use for the mirror mount? Thanks again

you really just need to buy a perch for a freight shaker so it will ground it as well as secure it. Either the double mount perch or the single stainless steel one. Unless you are going to run your own ground wire.

    762x39 Thanks this.

Thanks. I plan on using an antenna mount that goes on the mirror mount screws. I think you are right....I think it's called a bird perch mount. Do I need to run a separate ground for the antenna or is the screw going into the mirror mount grounded. Thanks :)

Thanks. What size and length do I need? Does the screw have to be a torque star screw?

You can get a good two bolt perch mount at a flying J or a stainless steel single at a cb shop...looking around $15 either way. I would have sent you one off my old truck since I switched. One side was for sat radio and one for my cb. I left for the next poor soul to drive that truck.

The ones they sell at the truck stops come with the bolts. Try walking in and looking.

Go to Fastenal in your town and bring a sample with you to show them.
