I know it is possible to buy an M2 glider, but has anyone thought of a having a glider built to use for expediting? Seems a natural to me, but in honesty I don't know much about that end of the industry so I thought I'd ask the experts.

I guess no one else has thought much about it either, lol

Is expediting the straight box trucks with the sleepers?? If so I dont see why they couldnt have a glider built. Its not really any different the a regular tractor glider.
-
That's what I was thinking, take a 70" or bigger sleeper, drop an axle and stretch the frame. As time dependent that business is, having a truck that isn't in the shop would seem essential.

Yup pete and kw will build ya just about what ever you want.

In the m2 your choice of engine is limited to the Mercedes. They won't order the wiring harness and computers for the other engines with the package.
You would be better off ordering a class 8 glider day cab and have a good sleeper put on it. -
I started in a cab over, anything I can stand in is a luxury, a 579 with 72" sleeper would be more than enough, but a team I think you are right about a custom sleeper
