    Might anyone know what might be causing my cb to squelch? I've tried and tried to adjust controls, but it is a puzzler! Its a Galaxy 959 DX. I appreciate any input.. Thank you!

    Squelch knob all the way to the left Rf gain knob all the way into the right and if it hears people from great distances but still sounds like the squelch is on because there's absolutely no static then you are one of the lucky people who had your radio tuned by the same guy that does my work but if you have those knob adjusted that way and you still are unable to hear anything then it sounds like you have a coaxial cable problem or antenna problem

    The 949 and the 959 Galaxy raidos are one of the best that money can buy. I have owned one for 11 years now and it still works great today.
    I think that rabbiporkchop gave you good advice on the problem. Start looking into your Antenna and coax cables. Roadrunner
