Howdy!! from the oil patch

    Well things aren't so good here in Houston. Oil is cheap and should be cheap for a long time. That's great news because it means lower operating cost from less expensive fuel. But for oil drilling tool manufactures it's a bummer. Layoffs, pay cuts, and all that goes with that.

    Anyway for us survivors it meany taking on maintenance of our trucks. I'll be hanging around the garage looking for info on a 2006 Int. 8600.

    Never done oil-field, but I haul asphalt. Welcome to the forum; what kind of CDL experience do you have? Maybe it's time to jump-ship, like many have in your field.

    I do maintenance on the Pete's I run for an O/O with a mini-fleet; but it's a good thing. a.) extra money
    b.) I know what I'm driving each day will be running with integrity!~
