Accidents involving trucks make good news... read viewership, read ratings, read bottom line. The truth is, there are vastly more vehicular incidents involving commuters than trucks. It's not even comparable.

The issue is this is a major corridor between the cheap real estate in PA and the NYC metro area.

The sad thing is I might have known this cat, if not in person I might have rolled with him every night.

Nice to see how we have the love and support of our neighbors though. (NOT!) it's the 4 wheelers running through this stretch that seem to give us such a headache.

Come to think of it, I got flipped off by somebody just yesterday in that same area. Whatever sweetcheeks, I gotta job to do. You're just another rolling chicane.

I went west last night about 23:30 and it was still backed up to exit 60.
I yelled out on the radio but only a small amout of eastbounders replied.

Wanna truck, get a CB speak English and keep it on,it deters people from calling you on the phone when its on.
I hardly get a phone call.
Lots of people on the road-cheap gasoline is the reason.

    Sorry I couldn't hear you.

I run the same route every day. Not much need for a CB.

I just shared a truck with a guy at my last job and confirmed what I thought, nobody says much worth while over the CB these days. Just a few guys with mega watt rigs babbling endlessly.

Apparently there were four 9 year olds in the back of the SUV. They survived with minor injuries.

    That's a #### miracle!

    Trucker was fine as well

Two different crashes though. One at mm 40 something and another at mm 60 something.

I don't think the guy at mm 60 walked away.

The SUV that rear ended the semi had a woman and 4 kids. The woman perished but the kids made it.

The one that had the oil leak the drivers survived

That was my thought. But unless the reporting is inaccurate (which is entirely possible), it stated there were no reports of injuries. How? I can't even begin to imagine how.

Edit. Another story below says the driver was injured and cited

I have no idea what the "oil leak" is in reference to.
