Well, through process of elimination I finally found the source my cb problem. It was my new stereo that I put in about 3 weeks ago. It just happened that I put the new cb in around the same time as the stereo so I kept thinking it was the cb itself but with a lot of research and huge help from following this thread I found that when my new stereo was turned on the terrible noise in my radio would start. I put the original radio back in and am getting great reception now. I almost bought the ferrite beads but was determined and found the source of the problem. I am still determined to put the new stereo in so now my process of figuring out "exactly" the source of the problem begins.

Their called BARN YARD BUICKES for many reasons, now you have first hand experience with them. You will like the Volvo much better. Big cab and sleeper, ride is pretty good, I just hope it doesn't have a DD13, no guts won't pull. LOL
