    not sure if this is right place for this topic, but does anyone have the skinny on I10....I was in Baton Rouge and Gramercy last week and it was pretty bad. I am debating on that route to florida or staying on 20 to Jackson, MS...thanks.

    Don't know about Baton Rouge, but if you're on 20 now, run 20 to Jackson, pick up US49 to Hattiesburg, go south on I59 for a few miles, then catch US98 to I65 south Mobile to I10. If you're hazmat, when you get to mobile, go I65 north to I165 south to Us90 and avoid the tunnel restriction on 10.

    All 4 lane. The common oversized route.

    Came out of Texas Monday across Louisiana and it was all open on 10 and 12.

    Thank you. I prefer the I10 route as opposed for going through Lucedale. Lately, been taking the Hazmat route anyways when the Tunnel is backed up.
