Need help finding cheaper insurance. Paying 14k/ yr standard 1m and cargo I think is 150-250k (can't remember) Dry Van...1 truck...2 drivers @ 3 years CDL both over 27 years old and good driving records. Based out of NY. Would like to get it under 10k a year

    Company formed 3 years Ago

Ooida says drivers need 9 years experience so that won't work

Northland says you need a local underwriter ...which is what I'm using now so that's no good. Progressive is a 500 mile radius which won't work

    Thanks

Maybe relocate out of NY? The Empire State is a glutton on money.

I hate to be so... simple with that one sentence. We live in the best Nation in the world and there are lots of places to truck for cheaper than NY.

    Upstate. That's different.

Let's see... Hoo boy you have all sorts of things to get into up there. I will have to sit and think back that far to remember. Leaving NYC aside, I remember Albany, Seneca Lakes (Akio Salt shipping) and so forth up there.

There is a Buffalo foundry that runs brass in box trailers to for example Remington Arms here in Lonoke Arkansas...

There is a mess of Canada logisitics to feed all those factories between you and toronto post NAFTA Clinton years... and so forth.

Try Great American Insurance. Or you could call a broker and see if he can help you.
