IS AUTORENEWAL ON FACTORING CONTRACTS LEGAL

    We factor with ECS, our contract was signed back in 2009. With current laws, can they enforce automatic renewal on factoring agreement? After fulfilling our yearly contract wouldn't we fall under a month to month service agreement?

    It really matters what is written in your contract.
    Simple answer is- yes it can.
    Real answer is- does it.
    My rental contracts start as annual leases, on the anniversary each year they automatically renew for another year unless there is a 30 day request from the tenants or myself ,prior to the anniversary, to convert to a month to month or a complete termination.

    What did you sign originally? There's probably an auto renewal portion in the original contract you signed.
