Just getting out of school

Not sure. The add I responded too said 3 months exp. required. It's definitely worth a call to find out. Out of a school may make a difference. I've seen that matter at other companies. Definitely worth it to avoid building csa points if you end up with one of those fly bye night-hire anyone-crappy equipment companies just to get experience.

Never claim JBH to be the greatest out there but it's far better than the common perceived reputation that lots of people say whenever the subject comes up.

 

JBH doesn't reimburse for cdl tuition.
Very micro managed.
Low driver manager trust.
Bendix radar systems which do more harm - distractions.
You have to wait a YEAR! For 401k match.....seriously?
There's better outfits that will treat you better

 

Maybe so. The Bendix system is a adjustment but it really isn't that bad. Definitely not a distraction. If it is your use to following too close and that's pretty tough in a 62mph vehicle. Management can very account to account I'm sure but there is 26000 employees so of course there's gotta be some bad ones. Statistics my friend. I'm not pushing the company on the guy I'm just saying it can be worth looking into. You raise some valid points but I hate the blanket statements that people make about JBH and are taken as shear fact.

 

Lots of options with JBH. Stay at least a year, don't job hop. Keep your record clean. Go make a living.
