Well gang 6 months ago I got new glasses and I got a new medical card so for the most part I am good to go medical card is good till 2018, but...my license expires in May of 2017. Obviously this minute in time there's not a problem because it's to soon to get my license renewed, but here's the predicament.
My vision isn't so bad actually I can function fine without my glasses because my right eye is my good and dominant eye and naturally the vision it gives me is fine so that makes me a candidate for a K2 restriction wavier. Meaning I can go to the DMV and with my right eye and both eyes pass there eye examination no problem. How does that work say the DOT gives me a K2 wavier what do I do and how does that work for getting a medical card? What's stupid is the DMV gives you an eye test and then the Medical Examiner Gives you an eye test if I have a k2 wavier does that over rider the DOT Medical Examiner? I'm a little confused as to how that all works.
K2 Restrictions how do they work with Medical Cards?
