None of the PP koolade drinkers will answer, and I have written to several by im. I even tried to sound like a koolade drinker myself.

 

For being so deep in the koolaid they do seem to be keenly aware of non believers.....

 

Anyone have updates on the first Signature Glider (red Pete I think) PP built? IIRC it had a Cat engine.

 

I remember him writing about a 389 that was pulling a tanker in Oklahoma city. He claimed that it was getting better mpg than this one, and it was running the speed limit! I don't think it was the same one he has on the website. It was dual drive, and Bruce claimed that running a pusher, he could break 10 mpg.

Highlights:
Says they were unreasonable customers who should have been happy with 8.9mpg
Says PP didn't make any money off the signature truck
Says the truck originally dynoed over 565 to the wheels
Says they drove too low rpm (1200 rpm)
Says the smaller turbo made too much heat for the tune
Says the exhaust clamp broke after the turbo swaps so of course he didn't pay for it -- especially since the labor was ridiculous ($375 for a 30 minute job)
Says the differential seal failed from pressure washer -- he didn't build the diff, he just put it in so of course he didn't warranty it
Says he wrote the book on liner protrusion
Says PDI runs too much timing which created too much heat.
Says "posts disappeared" from trackthattruck's facebook
Says liner being off 4-5 thousands was impossible
Says that truck was supposed to be $225,000 and built by Custom Truck in Oregon, but he backed out.
Says "we have pictures"
Says people posting on Facebook are the equivalent of people with "big radios"
Says you cannot balance electronic injectors -- that the ecm is programmed for the specific part number of each injector

 

I'm glad you went thru it, I made it to where he talks about spending hours trying to get KW to go to a higher geared rear end. It's a #### glider! Order it without the rear and put the one you want in!

I couldn't take the sound quality anymore, but it sounded like typical Bruce. Blame everything else and don't address the real problems that were found.
