I have never got my truck unloaded in less than 8 hours. I'm not talking waiting time for a dock or check-in etc -those are extra hours.
I mean, after the first pallet comes off, it will be 8 hours before the last pallet comes off.
Each time I ask, they say, "we had to re stack some damaged pallets".
Worst place I've ever been.

Talk about excessive, even 2-3 hours for an unload is too much.
Hopefully those weren't FREE hours.. -
They have ads all the time for warehouse people. I mean all the time!

Just got the green-lite; 5 hr unload - that's a record! When I asked at check-in, they said "things are moving fast today".

I am on a salary so, whatever happens during my 11 days out, I get paid the same.
I was asking myself, "what do you care?" and my butt-hurt ego replied: "it's the principal at issue here!"lawsonott, Kindle, Lucar and 1 other person Thank this. -
i just turned down a load going there.Joetro, drvrtech77 and ShortBusKid Thank this. -
This thread is a good argument for allowing legal unskilled workers into this country. To do the jobs that most Americans don't want to do. Something for all of us to think about the next time we are stuck for 8 hours getting unloaded.

Try Food City in Abingdon VA....
9 hours after I got to the dock....then charged 275 lumper fee.
Charged an extra 50 bucks to pick one case up that fell off a pallet!
I will NEVER pull another load in there! -
