Layed off, looking for decent companies.

    Westcan Bulk did. And Tommy who owned it (he bought if from Mrs. Matchett after her husband died) moved to Edmonton and ran Westcan after Ron Lavoie stepped down for quite a few years. Westcan was bought out by an investment group out of Calgary and Tommy wound up being Chairman of the Board. They also bought out Economy Carriers and R.T.L. Robinson Transport.

    Tommy had been Dispatcher for Matchett then Operations Manager then he owned it.

    They had a large fleet. Seemed like the yard was always full though.

    Yes. A lot of the trailers are used in the spring only to haul ammonia. Many specialized trailers but the tractors are always rolling.

    for the OP...7months experience? I dont know of many OTR companies that will hire short timers.
