Local tanker a day in the life

    It's that time of year again, We run deicer(runway & wing) to O'Hare airport.
    Their just stuffing their tanks now to be ready.
    Started at 4am to run 2 loads up there, loaded and ran 1st one up ,no problems
    Empty back to load another, get back to with 2nd pull into the staging area call for my escort, with in a minute I had 2 TSA vehicles (explosive bomb unit)pull up next to me
    And another right across the street. I have no idea what's going on, I've ran the stuff the last 2 years, they never approached me they just sat there til my escort arrived. That's when I find out Obama just flew in.
    I guess tanker in airport is a threat these days

    I almost took 8700 gallons of Regular, Premium and Diesel into a California State Prison a couple of weeks ago. I missed my turn and was looking for a safe place to turn around. "Convention Center," I read on the sign. Surely that will have plenty of room to turn around in. As I'm slowing down and putting my blinker on, I notice the razor wire fence, the imposing high pressure sodium lamps, and do a double take at the sign. "Corrections Center," is what it actually said. They'd have shot me 86 times before I could even explain myself, thinking I was coming in there screaming Allahu Akbar and ####

    This stuff is going to a major pharmaceutical manufacturer, scary to think what it's used for. Anyways its a 4-5 hr. Sample test before they start unloading, Atleast there is a huge cafeteria with a full breakfast menu
