I'm in my last week of CDL school here in Georgia (Atlanta/Athens area). I already have my tanker and hazmat endorsements. I've applied to quite a few companies. I'm seriously considering Schneider Bulk or CTL Transport, but I'm definitely open to other options. Just weighing my options. Happily excepting any and all useful advise. Doesn't have to be tankers as long as the $$$ is good. I'm not concerned with home time, but I am concerned with getting some good training, cpm, miles, accessories and the quality of the company.
Looking for some useful advice. About to Graduate CDL school here in Georgia.

Not here to give you advice on which company to go with. My advice is: Wherever you choose, stay there a couple years and keep your nose clean. By then, you will have enough knowledge to determine where to go next (if anywhere).

Chinatown and Clyde07 I definitely appreciate your responses. Clyde07 I've been researching a good company to start with for the exact reason you mentioned. I've talked to a friends that are truckers (male and female) and they've given the same advise.

@Chinatown he is getting kick backs from Abilene Express
Bob Dobalina, Canned Spam and Chinatown Thank this. -
Learn quickly to focus more on how much you keep over how much you make per mile. Trucking is a lifestyle change, focus on creating a lifestyle out here that allows you to retain as much of what you make as possible. Otherwise you will be like so many others, making good money and broke all the time.
BiH Thanks this. -
