Losing turbo boost

    When I accelerate boost gose to 10 pounds cooling fan kicks in and lose all turbo boost , could it be actuator controller causing this ? This is a 2007 ISX cumming with about 570,000 miles and is intermittent problem !

    Sounds like the engine is derating itself due to temp issues. How is your coolant and oil temps?

    Really need a laptop hooked up to see what the ecm is seeing. If it's a 870 the intake temp sensor may be bad.
