Swift sound like an awful company. Butt of trucking jokes. Cameras in the trucks. That being said...least you are getting through it OP and have a trucking job. Just do the year or even 6 months.

(To Mod: Sorry about that previous post)

Hell ... news to me too. Been here for 5 1/2 year and average 127,000 miles a year ... Only have to show up, deliver on time and be civil. It's that being civil part that most people seem to have problem with.

Well the last road job I had was with MS Carriers and when they got bought out by Swift, Jerry Moyes cut all the pay, bennies and accessorials down to the bone. There were men pulling for MS Carriers who had 20+ years in and all of em' left after the buyout. I tell you MS Carriers was the best road job I ever had period. Better than Wal-Mart at the time because of the people there. If Mr. Starnes the owner ever started up another outfit, I'd be first man in line to hire-on. Can't blame him for cashing out the when the getting was good, tho. A man's got to get what he can in this life, and I know Mr.Starnes saw the writing on the wall. Couldn't beat Jerry Moyes what with the slave wages he pays his drivers. That cheap sob Moyes even put coin operated washers and drivers in the terminals so drivers got to pay to do laundry.
