    When is the mandate to upgrade to euro5 (or whatever) emissions trucks down under ??

    All new trucks have got to be euro 5, but you can run an older one. To get the fuel rebate on an older truck, you need to be in an accreditation scheme and be audited on maintenance and emissions. I think our rules are similar to Canada's.

    It is a APU...Icepak diesel powered sleeper air con.
    Pics were taken near Broken Hill NSW (Australia of course). The one of the engine is in my workshop just after I resealed the flywheel housing and front gear housing. After a few years they fret and leak oil so they've got to be machined.

    It's been to some very remote areas....that's why you want a mechanical engine because electronics fry out there and are unfixable without help!

    We do have Petes but they are privately imported and converted to RHD whereas KW has a factory here with the full back up
