Im not saying they are a bad company I just want people to not have to go through what happened to me. While at orentation. They gave me refresher status. I had cdl's since they came into being driving a tow truck. I never had to do log books and when you go out with a trainer for 21 days you have to use paper logs until you get your own truck. The recruiter never told me this 6 months went by that I could have studied log books. The instructor is an A-hole you will not like him. look up you tube videos on load securement you will need it. Look at mapping videos it will help in class. Whenever you are sitting at the p.c. that means you are driving log it. They teach you to Make it believable. Study how to do paper logs they will send you home

Basically Melton expects you to understand recaps on paper logs and be able to run legally if the QC goes down. You will be sent home if you can't catch on.
Honestly if you can't handle a log book you're gonna get bent over someday when your elog goes down, Melton and many other companies don't want that on their CSA scores. -
