Checked into the hotel. Nothing major, a basic hotel nothing too fancy. Plenty nearby within a short walking distance. Outdoor pool if one is feeling adventurous.

Enjoy. The hard work is about to begin. Odds are against you. I remember how overwhelmed everything was when I started out. I own my own truck and have my own authority now. It is what you make of it. Kick ### and have fun! Make your own luck.

Lol, England and CRST was never on my radar and Swift was a absolutely last resort. It may be a bit overwhelming but with good notes and being a quick study. Im not super worried. luckly I got alot of time at my CDL school behind the wheel and backing.

    A little advice:
Start reading the Highway to Success book during week one, especially chapters 4-6, it will make week two easier.

Don't be afraid of the Qualcom. Pick it up, poke through it, learn it. The QC has a great impact on how much you earn and how much your head hurts at the end of the day.

Have opinions, ask questions, take the initiative. Try thinking of the TE's truck as YOUR TRUCK. You want to do EVERYTHING. Those that do have an easier time once on the road by their lonesome.

As you run into problems, post them here. Mickeyrat and Moosc are great about offering solid advice for company drivers.

    Good luck, have fun.

Well breakfast is your standard hotel meh. Now comes waiting for the fun and games to begin. It appears there are plenty of people here in various stages of training. More later as i get chances.
