Which motor how many miles
-
Cummins Isx 715,000
-
Dose it take a regen? Your dpf could be clogged when was the last time you had it serviced? Cummins recommends it done at least every 250K miles. Is the truck smoking? If so what color is the smoke? Are you loosing coolant?
-
It regens but it does it's been doing it a couple of times a day. It's white smoke when it does. The fault code says exhaust back gas pressure sensor
-
The dpf needs to be serviced. Better do it soon or the engine will de-rate and you will be calling a tow truck
rachi Thanks this. -
Is that expensive
-
If just a cleaning about $500 if it went bad could be up to $10,000 or more. You really need to do better maintainence on the truck
-
rachi Thanks this.
