need some advice, on freightliner 08 s60 vs 09 dd15

    im in the process of getting a truck, I have the option of getting a 08 casacadia with the Detroit 60 with 674,000 it has a smart shift 10 speed, it has 515 hp.
    or I can get a 09 Cascadia with the dd15 it has 602,000 and 455 hp it also has the smart shift. I would like to get some feed back on which truck would be better to get. I drive in California and pull about 40k in product.

    You must like auto/shift trucks, you could have rig/dig report printed out, ecm. print out run and have each truck run on dino. then see what truck looks best?

    They run really good and save your knee and shoulder, i guess what i meant to ask, was which engine is better,

    I asked this exact same question on this forum a while back. people leaned towards the dd15.

    I called my local freightliner shop and asked the same question and they said the 60 series was 100% garbage once this emission got on there and the dd will be better on fuel.
