New here, heading to my first job

    Hey Truckers, about to head out the door to my first orientation. Finished CDL school at the end of June, and after waiting on my Hazmat and TWIC card to finally come in, I've decided to make the jump.
    I'm 30, from north Louisiana. After 9 years in law enforcement I've decided to make a change. Always wanted to drive a truck, now we'll see if it's what I thought it would be.
    Heading south to St Gabriel, LA for orientation with CTL Transportation. Going to see if tugging a tank is as much fun as everyone says it is, haha.
    Wish me luck, have a feeling I'll need it.

    Good luck Golden! Way things are going down today wouldn't be surprised to see many leave or change there minds about law enforcement! Always good to have your experience on this forum. We have trooper to trucker as a good source, maybe more on here but he's pretty involved.
