Oil pressure sensor PLS HELP!!!!

    Hello ppl .
    the question is ... I got d12 .06 780. Oil pressure. Gauge start acting up and down from 30 to 90 . sometimes it give me kinda WORNINGGG)) no oil pressure... So i got new sensor from the dealer for 220$ install it and now gauge move from 60 and up to 90 and back.... When engine is hot ...
    And also it throw code like"Value too low " mid 128 pid 100 fmi1
    What it can be how I can fix it.....

    I have a Cummins in my Volvo, and my low oil pressure was caused by a loose wire on the circuit board behind the gauge cluster.

    Yep oil new 3k. Only and it screwing only when 170 and more

    this is not really normal for d12 but it's supposed to be at 60 on high rpm's maybe 65 even up to 90 it shouldn't be a problem my question is why are you getting the value to low is it maybe when you are idling the truck and if yes what kind of milage does this thing have on it has anyone done any work to the engine recently.

    Yes engine work have been done at 800.000 main and rod berings. Now 855.000 . and its no problem when idle. Its only on high rpm like 1500 and temp. more than 170. f.
    and my main concern not of the numbers for the oil pressure my main concern the needle of the gauge moving up and down weird it can drop from 90 to 60 in the Split Second then goes to 30 and all the way to 90 again

    i would definately check the work they did something is not right over there i highly doubt this would be an electrical issue maybe big maybe something with dash but very unlikely

    Thanks. But work have been done by my self. I'm cat diesel mech in the past. . I can seeelectrical issue only. spoke to the dealership today they said more common problem wire before the socket....
