My prostar starting alarming stop engine. Then stops. Starts again off and on for last two days. Nothing else to indicate issue.

Only thing I can find is low oil.
Stop by terminal for oil, can't get oil unless you have your own jugs.

Talked to DM. She auth 40 on comdata to buy some jugs of fluids. Now comdata states oil purch not allowed.

Call DM back.... States just get cash, and then buy it.... Save receipt. Comdata not allowing cash withdrawal.

Purchase gallon of oil with own money.

Dm said we can get one truck wash per month. Did that the other day.... So now I am figuring out 102 dollars of my pay is in limbo waiting for paperwork.

I knew the 22 I paid for oil would be... Had no idea comdata trans would be.

Anyway that did not stop the alarm.
Sat on hold almost one hour for break down.
Hung up and sent 55. Finally got called... Said to add two more gallons. Set it up for pick up at service desk at TA.

Now three gallons added... Still alarming.

Sent another 55. And waiting for that call.

Just noticed that briefly when key turns on... Abs module shows, and then back to stop engine.

Check the dipstick. Are you flooding the motor? Lol if it's not eating the coolant it could just be the sensor

Coolant is good... It motor oil that was low on dipstick.

Break down acted like I was idiot thinking one gallon would fix it.

I'm like... Ummm alright.... Ya I can read a dipstick. Buut if you are buying, I will add all the oil you want.

Those empty jugs are apparently valuable.

Considering how many drivers swift has ya the jugs are valuable.Start keeping them in your sidebox. Also while at the terminal why didn't you just have the shop look over your trk to pinpoint where the alarm is coming from?

Ok... So I don't know how to read dipstick.

WTF... Int has both notches and etched print.

When looking at wrong side... Fill right between notches.

When looking at etched printing, never was low.

So after climbing all over this motor in the hot and bright daylight... Looking for break system connections.. I find WAY UP TOP under windshield a tiny brake fluid reservoir.... Cap missing, bone dry... Good layer of road grime in it.

Pretty sure that is the trouble.

    Alarm only sounded briefly twice...

And shop wanted me to leave it in line with no ETA.

Seemed reasonable at the time... Just top off oil.
