Opinions on which CB

I got a couple of these coming in a few weeks.
They are narrower than a Cobra 148 with more capabilities.

Should look nice in the Chevy Tahoe

That is going to be my next purchase.

 

Weather radios came with the truck and I had a bearcat on the side listening to trains, FAA, smokies etc back in the day. Throw a Uniden PC76xl on the stack and all is well with wilsons on both mirriors. No problems generally. Lack of sideband but eh... I still have it. It's on the table over yonder. I would not part with it.

 

Ssb is nice for long-distance emergencies when you're off-roading out in the woods far from civilization.

 

For a factory look this radio fits in a single DIN slot

 

Well im guessing the cre doesnt sound as good with a lil 80's rock as the stereo it replaced..lol

 

Rock didnt exist in the 80's until Stevie Ray Vaughn brokeout in 84 but he was Blues Rock, dark decade for Guitar Rock.

 

I had one of those not too long ago and i wasn't impressed with it, but the thing has never see the hand of a magician....
