    I got a couple of these coming in a few weeks.
    They are narrower than a Cobra 148 with more capabilities.

    Weather radios came with the truck and I had a bearcat on the side listening to trains, FAA, smokies etc back in the day. Throw a Uniden PC76xl on the stack and all is well with wilsons on both mirriors. No problems generally. Lack of sideband but eh... I still have it. It's on the table over yonder. I would not part with it.

    Ssb is nice for long-distance emergencies when you're off-roading out in the woods far from civilization.

    Well im guessing the cre doesnt sound as good with a lil 80's rock as the stereo it replaced..lol

    Rock didnt exist in the 80's until Stevie Ray Vaughn brokeout in 84 but he was Blues Rock, dark decade for Guitar Rock.
