So I received pre hire for us xpress. I have not drive a truck in 7 years. The recruiter mentioned road test to see where my skills are. In going to Springfield. I'm confident I won't be able to back it up very well. Can anybody give me an insight to the whole process in Springfield. Thanks for everything

I think Springfield stopped road testing students since they'll be going out with a trainer anyway. Only experienced drivers. Road test is easy. Forget the exact route but you won't be on the interstate. Possibly test on a 8 speed Peterbilt. Tell the road tester your strengths and weaknesses, they should work with you. Most don't want to fail anyone.

Dont worry. Nobody ia great at backing a truck out of school.

6 months from now, youll still screw it up, but fewer times.

No biggie. Just dont back into ####.
