Hey guys, I'm a newb to driving Peterbilts, my new job has me in a Pete 388, and I'm kind of a stickler about keeping it clean.

The little window in the passenger side door, I think is called a peeper window, gets wet when I wash the truck and then remains dirty. Is there a trick to either cleaning it or keeping it clean without having to take the door panel off or removing the window?

You can remove the inside window to clean it. The procedure on how to do it will be in your owners manual under Maintenance category - "inner view window"
I removed mine and left it at home for safe keeping.

So you can remove the window on the inside of the cab and be ok? Does that let any more wind noise in? Or moisture?

I haven't noticed any moisture or wind noise, although I have pipes so maybe I'm not hearing it. image.jpeg

Thanks for the picture. It doesn't interfere with the window track either does it?

No interference, I took the inner window out 2yrs ago when this truck was only 6 months old and haven't had any issues

Can the inner glass be removed using a screwdriver?
The manual mentioned using a glass stick which I am not familiar with.

Easiest to remove/replace that glass with a cotter pin puller. I removed them numerous times with backside of pocket knife blade when locked out.
