As things start to come back to life, I'm looking towards the oilfields again. I am also trying to get back to the northeast. I know there is some activity there, but what's it like? Who should I chase or avoid?
I am looking to turn wrenches, and have a fair bit of experience. How are the dealerships in that region?

I probably won't be in a position to actually jump for another 6-9months, but prep is key.

Just because people are working for pennies up here in northeast Pennsylvania doesn't exactly justify moving up here. From what it sounds like most of these oil field trucks are working twice as hard for half the money as certain people that I know hauling decent paying Freight.
