Peterbilt 386 hood

    i am just wondering while driving a peterbilt 386 does it have a hood you see no i know it's not like a 379 but do you have more hood while driving then the t800?? Thanks

    I have driven both the 386 and a t800 a ton and I'd say they are about the same. They have similar angles,

    I own a 2012 386...before a 379. Quite a drastic difference. 386 has a downward slope. View from inside the cab makes it appear almost nonexistent. From outside, the opposite appearance.

    Here's my 386 view.
    Realistic with the seat highth where I ride I can't even see the hood.

    Yah that's what I thought I really like having a hood to see :). But the 379 and w9 are really budgeted high .... Just was curious about the 386 :). Thanks for the come back

    I love my 386. It's everything I wanted cept maybe a 48 inch sleeper instead of the 63. I wish they were still going to make them.

    I am 6'2" and with the seat on the floor I was never able to see the hood.
